Members of Delta Delta Delta ate together Friday night, but by Saturday night they were incredibly ill, leading many to think it was a case of severe food poisoning. Fire trucks and police cars responded after a caller had called in about a sudden onset of vomiting and diahrea. Huron Valley Ambulance was present as well to rush some of the women to the hospital. The fire department confirmed there were no harmful gases in the building, further supporting the theory that this was food poisoning.

Health officials are saying the symptoms look a lot like the norovirus (a common cause of food poisoning), but they can’t be sure. The Health Department is going through food histories of those who got sick to try and isolate the cause of the illness.
